2 things: my grandma’s china cabinet in pixel form and a mesh edit.
1) My grandma had this china cabinet sitting in the dining room of her little house as long as I can remember. When I was little, I thought it was a very mysterious thing filled with all the wonders of the world. I wasn’t allowed to touch anything in it- until a holiday. Then I was allowed to get the beehive salt & pepper shakers, sugar bowl and creamer out. :) When she passed away, I got a lot of the things that were in that cabinet and I was supposed to get the cabinet too. Things didn’t work out and I’ve thought of that cabinet often over the years. My version isn’t 100% true to hers- but it’s close enough for me! My sim, who inherited her granny’s house, seems to like it well enough too.
There are 28 slots- 5 on each shelf, 5 on the bottom and 3 on the top. It can be found in Surface>End Tables for 145 Simoleons and comes with 17 wood recolors and 2 glass recolors. (Not separate packages, sorry- they’re attached to the medium and dark wood recolors.) Polycount is: 1850. It can be used with the quarter tile cheat- which is a good thing because it’s slightly bigger than 1 tile wide. So you won’t want to put it right up against a corner!
2) This mesh by gromit is one of my very favorite old meshes. I don’t know if it’s just my copy of it- but once placed, I couldn’t use the design tool on it. I had to choose the recolors before placing. I opened up the package and noticed a lot of the links were broken and there were 2 textures that weren’t needed. So I fixed the package and can now use the design tool on it after placing it. (See screenshot - it’s all lit up like a Christmas Tree, lol.) If you’d like this edit, just let the file overwrite the old one.
